I'm making the favors for my sister-in-law's baby shower next week. I just thought I'd share because they are turning out to be really cute. Inside the little bag is a pink organza pouch filled with candy. Gotta go...I'll be spending the rest of the day getting all those last minute things for Christmas :}

Merry Christmas

We have tons of ornaments on the tree. Different ones that we have collected throught the years...but my favorites are the ones my kids have made. This wreath made out of pasta and a pipe cleaner is so special to me. Especially since my daughter, who is now in high school, made it. Time just goes by way too fast. Before I know it The Princess will be in school and bringing home more ornaments that will hang proudly next to her sister's and brother's handmade ornaments.
On a side note...I know why I was so cold...I ended up getting the flu. It lasted a couple of weeks, but I feel much better now and I'm not so cold anymore!

I'm Freezing...

It has been so cold. Ok...I have been so cold. It's been about 43 degrees when I take the kids to school in the morning and then it warms up during the day. Then it gets cold again. I know it's still warm compared to other areas of the country, but I can't seem to stay warm no matter what. Even with a nice fire going and two layers of sweaters. I'm still cold. I try to stay active. I did my workout this morning for 40 minutes. I cleaned house, worked, played with The Princess. I even took a walk with my husband and our puppy...I came back frozen. And it's only going to get colder. So I thought I'd share this picture of one of my garden angels. I took it in the summer so it makes me feel a bit warmer when I see it. Stay warm!

Ready for Christmas

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I did...we were blessed with good food and family...that's what life is all about! Now I'm ready for Christmas...and so is The Princess!

Last Saturday I took my princess to the local halloween parade. It was downtown & anyone with a costume could participate (including pets!) Princess Tatiana chose to just watch this year. After the parade we had fun trick-or-treating at the downtown shops. Even though our town is growing fast it still has that small town feeling. You can always count on running into somebody you've know for years! It's especially nice around the holidays.

It's the little things....

It is so sweet when my husband does the little, unexpected things. He made this swing for our kids and hung it from a tree in our new backyard. The kids love it & I love him ; )

For the Queen...

I will be adding a new section soon just for moms (or the queen as I like to refer to myself) Pretty & fun things that I find on my buying adventures. I know you're probably just like me....always buying for the kids. Now you can spoil yourself (well...soon anyway!)I'm so excited...I better get back to work!

The Perfect Spot part 2

Surprise, surprise....the perfect spot is still the dining room! I have a huge window in my new dining room & when I took some pix there they came out perfect! Above is a sampling of some of the new items I have in stock. Select items are still 1/2 off!!!

Now that I am settling into my new home, I need to find the "perfect" spot to take the pix for my website. In my last house I had the perfect lighting for most of the day in my dining room. I guess I just have to play around with some pix before I find my work spot. Wish me luck....

I'm back!

Well...we didn't end up in Texas after all.....but we did move into a new house in California. I'm almost done unpacking & sending off the orders that I received while I was away.
